About Work Zone
Established by Hammersmith & Fulham Council, Work Zone is a partnership working with Westfield London to help their retailers and contractors recruit locally, signpost residents and job seekers to available jobs and assist residents and job seekers to become job-ready by accessing the right employment and
skills training.
Work Zone is led by the Council with the following partners: Jobcentre Plus, Ealing Hammersmith and West London College, Tendis and Westfield London. Please click on the logos below to go to the partners web sites.
Westfield London is a shopping centre located in White City, north of Shepherds Bush. It launched on the 30th October 2008 and, when fully opened, will contain over 265 retail and leisure outlets, 4,500 car park spaces and new integrated transport links, including a new overland station (Shepherd’s Bush) and a new Hammersmith and City Line tube station (Wood Lane).
It is estimated that the shopping centre will offer over 7,000 retail and leisure related jobs when fully opened.
